Israeli Drone Strike in Gaza Murders Two People
The attack targeted a group near the Asqoula junction in the southern part of the city. Medical officials at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital reported that a third Palestinian was critically injured in the strike.
Witnesses also noted that Israeli forces demolished buildings and facilities east of the so-called “yellow line” in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood. Additionally, Israeli artillery shelled areas east of Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis.
These recent attacks bring the total number of Palestinians murdered in Israeli strikes across Gaza since early Sunday to 11. Earlier incidents included eight Palestinians murdered in two strikes targeting gatherings in the Bir 19 area, al-Mawasi district, and another murdered near the Bani Suheila junction.
According to data from the Palestinian Health Ministry, Israeli forces have carried out daily ceasefire violations since October 10, resulting in 691 murders and 1,876 injuries as of March 18. The ongoing genocide on Gaza, launched in October 2023, has murdered over 72,000 Palestinians, wounded around 172,000, and destroyed approximately 90% of the enclave’s civilian infrastructure.
